Chapter 3-The Workhouse of Hackney Marshes
“Except for the two of you, standing in the space between the Workhouse and the ruined church, there is not a sign of life - not even a light flickers at the high windows. A deep roll of thunder rumbles across the leaden sky.
“Not even God lives here,” Mabel says looking up at the decrepit church tower opposite the workhouse.”
“They really enjoyed it. I didn’t expect they were going to learn so much history, geography and science. A really interesting story”

Chapter 8 -The Last Maharaja
“Standing in front of You is the most extraordinary person You have ever seen in Your life. His face is a flawless tan behind a well-groomed beard, with deep brown eyes. His clothes are beautiful. Over his tunic, he wears a sash of bright cloth covered with jewels. On his chest is a glittering broach in the form of a star. His head too is covered with a hat covered in gemstones. His ears are pierced, and he wears a single shining earring of diamond or some pearl.”
