Join Studio Cultivate for Nature Adventure.

Nature Adventure is for all ‘wild-ones’ between the ages of 7-11.

Join us on Sunday mornings at the wild and beautiful, Garthorne Road Nature Reserve in Lewisham, London.

Each Nature Adventure project lasts a school term and features an original story, written by the Nature Adventure team. Our Nature Adventure stories place your child as the plot’s central character, creating an imaginative and immersive experience. Nature-based actives, rooted within the nature reserve and inspired by the project’s story include plant growing, potion making, den building, natural material model making, vegan food preparation (and eating), map creation and much, much more.

Activities are also linked to Key Stage 2 National Curriculum subjects, and curriculum links are also available on request.

Thoroughly well researched and incredibly well thought out - the attention to the historical context and National Curriculum expectations was incredible.
— Cathy Bannon - Headteacher; Richard Cobden Primary, London

Workshops run on Sunday mornings between 10:00-11:30 (term time) and are delivered by a dynamic team of local teachers and nature-learning facilitators

Nature Adventure projects are jam-packed with story-telling and exciting nature inspired outdoor activities. Our workshops are designed to bring children closer to the natural world, to provide important mindful experiences and to engage with learning in a completely unique way.

Garthorne Road Nature Reserve

A unique and historic, urban woodland

We’re thrilled to be running Nature Adventure at the Garthorne Road Nature Reserve! A location of significant ecological importance and of fascinating history.

The site is securely fenced and gated to provide safety for your child, but also large enough to allow for exciting nature immersion!!

“It makes learning way more exciting, usually topic is just facts, this has a whole world in a story.”
— Year 5 pupil
I have been really impressed by how cross-curricular the project has been, and how brilliantly it provides a context for the children to engage with the various aspects of the National Curriculum
— Scarlett Cookson; Assistant Head Teacher; Richard Cobden Primary. London
