““I loved making the Vikings boats, it was really challenging but we succeeded!””
Chapter 10-Hunting the King
“Yøu hear them before Yøu see them so you follow the sound of the voices. Like mysterious beasts hulking in the mist, their silhouettes standing in a rough circle. Some sat on their haunches; others stood discussing in close whispers. Just before Yøu step back into the group, Yøur heart stops. These men are speaking Anglo-Saxon. Yøu stand stock-still and petrified behind the reeds and listen.”
“The Viking project allows me to show my learning in lots of different ways - we have so much fun doing this.”

Chapter 3 -The Master Boat Builder
“The Master Boat Builder is a wonderful Karl, a craftsman who can make anything. He is an even better storyteller. It was he who told Yøu the sagas of the gods, and Yøur favourite: the story of Thor’s hammer and Odin’s ravens. Yøu have become close companions since Yøur father passed away and Yøur brother Bjørn has become despotic.”
